SYDNEY, January 18, 2010

Monetelize Inc., which specializes in building local-search “Internet Yellow Pages” (IYP) directories based on the dot-tel domain and enables businesses to deploy and monetize advertising through those domains, today announced it is now managing more than 1,000 local-search directories.

Each directory is built on the “dot-tel” domain launched early last year by Telnic Ltd., which will create “the world’s largest virtual phone book,” according to business TV network CNBC. Dot-tel is particularly compatible with the burgeoning mobile advertising market because it offers quick searches and cost-effective advertising options. The Kelsey Group forecasts U.S. mobile search advertising revenues will grow from $39 million in 2008 to $2.3 billion by 2013, a compound annual growth rate of more than 125%.

“The Monetelize team is working very hard to leverage the growth of the mobile search advertising sector and we’re very happy that our proprietary technology will enable even more growth in the IYP sector by allowing .tel domainers to build quality directory content and thus monetize their domains more efficiently” Monetelize President Benny Traub said.

Each Yellowtel-branded directory is populated with a niche-oriented list of businesses. Yellowtel directories are similar to IYPs, except they are exclusively on the dot-tel domain platform. Monetelize’s portfolio of directories covers a wide range of verticals with a concentration on personal services and other B2C sectors. Most of the existing directories are specific to local or regional markets in the United States.

Monetelize’s Yellowtel-branded directories uniquely enable businesses to monetize third-party dot-tel advertising.

Benny Traub dons Editing Hat at PayPerCall.org

Monetelize President Benny Traub serves as Editor and Chief of PayPerCall.org, a resource dedicated to promoting Pay-per-call Advertising Industry.

The recently launched Paypercall.org is the first knowledge-site dedicated to supporting the pay-per-call advertising industry.

With dramatic improvements over the Internet’s traditional “pay-per-click” advertising model, “pay-per-call” is offered by a growing number of offline and online medial. Pay per Call drives phone calls to businesses, instead of mouse clicks. It offers several distinct advantages over “pay per click”:

Advertisers don’t pay unless the advertising is successful, that is, the customer actually contacts the business by phone.

Because up to half of all businesses do not have their own websites, they’re unable to take advantage of pay per click. Pay per Call makes performance-based advertising available to all companies, a potential downfall of the pay-per-click model.

It’s particularly well suited to the burgeoning mobile market because a click on a phone number is immediately transformed into a call.

Most small businesses prefer customer calls to clicks on a Web site.

The conversion rate from lead to sale is much higher for calls than for clicks.

Many customers still prefer the phone over the Internet to contact local businesses.

PayPerCall.org features a searchable knowledgebase and a “Free Downloads” section that offers no-cost tools that pay-per-call publishers can install on their sites to help educate advertisers. Paypercall.org also features an industry directory. Listings in the Pay per Call directory are free.

The aim of the site is to promote the industry, provide tools to its practitioners and develop an information resource that will foster a growing community of publishers, advertisers and related support services.

A handy knowledgebase allows users to type in keywords related to Pay per Call and obtain industry specific results. Editor in Chief, Benny Traub, says “part of the challenge in doing searches on the major engines, such as Google, is that the term ‘pay per call’ is also shared by the pay-by-the-minute psychic hotlines and other similar call-based businesses. The advertising industry uses the term ‘pay per call’ in a completely different context; however, search engines can’t tell the difference. This produces a mixed bag of search results. To complicate matters further, some telephone companies offer long distance on a ‘pay per call’ basis. All of their online information helps to further clutter the search engines and makes finding advertising related references time consuming. Paypercall.org searches the web and filters out any non-relevant references, thus speeding any research project related to pay per call advertising”.

About Editor in Chief, Benny Traub

Benny Traub has a multi-decade background in marketing and is a long-time proponent of integrating greater accountability into traditional advertising budgets. As a former ad agency owner, lecturer and marketing consultant, Benny has influenced the advertising strategies of thousands of SMB’s.

Monetelize’s Local-Search Directory Portfolio Tops 250

Monetelize Inc. announced today that it now has over two hundred and fifty local-search directories under management.

The portfolio of directories covers a wide range of verticals with a strong focus on personal services and other B2C sectors. Most of the directories are centric to local or regional markets in the United States.

Each directory is based on the new ‘.tel’ domain, launched earlier this year by Telnic Limited. The new tld (top level domain) is a communications based domain which is ideally suited to hosting directories and personal contact information. The .tel’s mobile-friendly content makes it a great fit for the emerging mobile internet, a swiftly expanding market. Advertising revenues from this sector are estimated to be growing at the rate of 125% annually.

Monetelize prepares to roll-out new TAD advertising format within yellowtel directories which are built on the .tel domain platform.

Monetelize Inc. – Sydney, announces that the much anticipated development of a new advertising format for .tel domains has arrived in the form of ‘TAD’.

The new TAD format facilitates industry standard presentation of third-party ads from well known ad networks such as Google, Yahoo and others. The TAD system will allow for multi-line text ads to be placed in several predefined positions within each page of a yellowtel directory, giving more control over how a user interacts with the .tel contact information. This flexibility will enhance user experience and give publishers more options to distribute creative’s that are widely available.

It is anticipated that higher advertising response may now be possible due to marketers having the freedom to create a separate headline, body text and clickable URI and to present their offers within a .tel in ways that are more likely to catch a consumer’s attention and interest.

Monetelize’s proprietary ‘Ad Conversion System’ is scheduled to be upgraded to TAD and all existing yellowtel directories will receive the upgrade at no cost.

This development further supports the growing community of .tel domain owners and entrepreneurs who are building directory businesses based on Telnic’s mobile-friendly data platform.

Each yellowtel directory is a micro-niche repository of contact information representing a narrow vertical or geographic market. Yellowtel directories facilitate local and mobile-search by providing small footprint, quick loading directories that can be viewed on the web or loaded directly into web enabled cell phones that have one of the freely available .tel applications installed.

Monetelize Inc. now has over 100 Local-search ‘yellowtel’ Directories Under Management

Monetelize Inc. – Sydney, announced today that it now has in excess of one hundred local-search, ‘yellowtel’ directories under management.

The yellowtel directories are a new form of Internet Yellow Pages (IYP) and offer numerous benefits, particularly to mobile users. Each directory is micro-niche in nature, usually representing a single vertical or narrow geographic market. Due to their limited focus and small size, the directories are quick to load. It is extremely easy to store them for quick retrieval on any web-enabled cell phone that has a dot-tel application.

Every yellowtel directory is mobile compatible, which is an inherent benefit of building on the .tel architecture. Yellowtel directories are particularly helpful to cell phone users because no typing is necessary to locate businesses. A user friendly, clickable navigation system is provided that enables users to quickly drill down to business listings they are searching for.

Owners of yellowtel directories hope to capitalize on the exploding mobile-search advertising sector which is expected to grow from $39 million in 2008 to $2.3 billion in the US by 2013, a compound annual growth rate of 125.6 percent. Global forecasts are much higher (The Kelsey Group).

Yellowtel directories are deployed with telgooey™, the leading technology platform developed by Monetelize Inc. The telgooey™ platform will speed the deployment of any data intensive .tel domain.

New Directory Building Service for Dot-Tel Domains Will Facilitate Rapid Deployment of Mobile-Search and Local-Search Directories

Monetelize Inc. (www.monetelize.com) announced today that it has launched Yellowtel™, a new directory deployment service for owners of dot-tel domains.

The Yellowtel service facilitates the creation of Yellow Page-style directories within the unique platform of the .tel domain. These local-search directories will host contact information for vertical markets and various micro-niche sectors.

Yellowtel paves the way for the development of complete portfolios of dot tel directories which can be leveraged to promote a wide range of products and services within the context of local and mobile-search, two rapidly growing sources of ad revenue.

Yellowtel directories with sufficient traffic can be offered up as highly targeted media buys with 100% measurability and acute location targeting.

Yellowtel directories offer mobile-friendly content, which is an inherent benefit of building on the dot tel platform. With a forecasted 1.08 billion new cell phones in 2009 (Strategy Analytics), the mobile market is poised to become a prime beneficiary of the new directories. The Kelsey Group forecasts U.S. mobile-search advertising revenues to grow from $39 million in 2008 to $2.3 billion by 2013, a compound annual growth rate of 125.6 percent. Global forecasts are much higher.

Consumers can load numerous Yellowtel directories directly into internet-enabled cell phones with available dot-tel mobile applications, enabling the directories to become convenient, reusable information sources.

But certainly the reach of Yellowtel directories is not limited to cell phones. There are billions of Internet Yellow Pages (IYP) searches done each month through the major players (such as Superpages, yellowpage.com, yellowpages.ca). IYP ad spending is already worth close to $4 billion and is growing at 20.1% compound annual growth rate, expected to reach $9.2 billion by 2012 (source:TKG).

Monday, June 15, 2009
New Advertising System for .tel domains

Monetelize Inc. (www.monetelize.com) announced today that it has developed a new ‘Ad Conversion’ system that enables .tel domains to host advertising from ad networks and other third party advertisers.

This new technology will enable entrepreneurs to monetize .tel domains in ways which were previously impossible. Ads from advertising networks can now be displayed within a .tel domain using full-text advertising with hyperlinks.

President, Benny Traub, says “our clients can now display ads and earn income with the most common revenue models such as pay per click, pay per lead and pay per sale, enabling them to monetize .tel domains similar to the way dot-coms have been monetized.”

Interested parties can obtain a free copy of the report; ‘Nine Secrets for Monetizing .tel Domains’. This ground breaking report describes the Ad Conversion system in more detail, as well as numerous other strategies for monetizing .tel domains. The report has been hailed by readers as “a true treasure to .tel owners” and “simply brilliant”.

This Ad Conversion System is the newest component of the TelGooey™ Technology Platform which was developed by Monetelize Inc. to help domain owners deploy and monetize their .tel domains. A sample of the Ad Conversion system in action can be viewed at monetelize.tel.

Monetelize Inc. Completes Development of Software aimed at Management of Complex .tel Domains

Monetelize Inc. announced today that it has completed version 1.0 of TelGooey™, a software application that automates many of the functions of .tel domain management.

TelGooey™ software will serve as the backbone to a suite of deployment and monetization services that the company plans to introduce to the market this year. The application will initially be released as ‘software as a service’, targeted to entrepreneurial domain owners wishing to monetize their domains, and corporate entities with complex directory structures.

TelGooey™ software will speed deployment time for domain owners who wish to import a large number of records into their domain. This is particularly helpful to those who need to create a directory.

TelGooey™ will also reduce maintenance time for large domains by synchronizing online contact information with data stored in external databases. Monetelize is working closely with Telnic’s technical team to ensure compatibility.

“Our technical team has confirmed the functionality of TelGooey”, says Henri Asseily, CTO of Telnic. “TelGooey is a powerful tool for creating large or complex domains and synchronizing online data with offline databases”.

Recent availability of .tel-friendly applications are paving the way for this communication-focused domain to becoming a new world standard for storing and accessing contact information. The .tel now provides a single point of contact in any Outlook, Blackberry or iPhone address book, making the .tel the last entry you’ll ever need to make. Free .tel software for Outlook, Blackberry and iPhone can be downloaded at http://telnic.com/community-applications.html or http://apps.telnic.tel.

The company is a hybrid development and marketing firm that will deploy and monetize the new dot-tel domain on behalf of its clients. “Our initial services”, says Traub, “will cater to enterprise level clients and those wishing to utilize the .tel to build or enhance a directory business. The .tel domain is perfectly suited to the directory industry. The .tel domain is simply the easiest way for people to find contact information on the internet. Finding a phone number, email or even street address is easier and more reliable, enabling the searcher to bypass traditional and often confusing websites, to quickly find all available contact info for businesses and individuals.
